Solid Wood Phone Stand — Your Choice of African Motif | Padouk / Movingui — Wouley

€35.00
Tax included

Handcrafted solid-wood phone stand, engraved with your choice of African motif: Bamileke elephant mask, Ngil (Fang) mask, Bamoun double-headed serpent, or tree of life. In padouk (warm red) or movingui (light golden). Charging notch, stable base. Handmade in Cameroon, one of a kind.

More than a simple accessory, this phone stand is a decorative piece in its own right. Carved from solid wood, it draws the eye with its rich natural grain and its central engraving, finely laser-cut.

What makes it special: you choose the engraved motif, each carrying its own meaning.

Bamileke elephant mask — one of the most prestigious motifs of the Cameroon Grassfields. Danced by the Kuosi society (the "elephant society" of the king, dignitaries and warriors), it embodies the authority, wealth and strength of the fon, the ruler. The elephant is the emblem of royal power in Cameroon.

Ngil (Fang) mask — a justice mask of the Fang people (southern Cameroon, Gabon). Its elongated face, whitened with kaolin, was worn by a society tasked with restoring order and exposing wrongdoers. A symbol of justice, protection, and connection to the ancestors.

Bamoun double-headed serpent — a royal emblem of the Bamoun kingdom (Foumban). The two-headed serpent evokes the king's victory and power, able to strike on two fronts at once: a symbol of vigilance, protection and sovereignty.

Tree of life — a universal symbol of roots, lineage and growth: the bond between ancestors, the living, and generations to come.

You also choose between two woods, each with its own character:

Padouk — deep, warm red tones, for a bold piece.

Movingui — lighter, golden and luminous tones, for a softer feel.

Each stand is made and engraved in our workshop in Cameroon; variations in the grain make every piece unique.

On the practical side, it's built for daily use: the notch at the base lets the charging cable pass through — perfect for video calls, following a recipe or watching a video while charging. The wide, stable base holds both slim smartphones and cased models.

Set on a desk, a shelf or a countertop, it adds a touch of authentic craft and strong character. It also makes an original gift — useful and beautiful at once.
